Favorite Scripture

My favorite scripture at the moment is Doctrine and Covenants 6:3. It says...

Behold, the field is white and ready to harvest; therefore, whoso desireth to reap, let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God.

And I believe that means, that the gospel is there for us to take while we're here on earth. I mean, it's there, the lord put it on the earth for us. And since it's "Full" and ready for us to take, why not thrust in out sickles and take as much as we can. That is one of the reasons we're here. To learn as much of the gospel as it is possible, and then return to the lord, so that we may have everlasting salvation!! If you love the lord, and want to return unto him, then seriously, why wouldn't you want as much of the gospel in your life as absolutely possible. The lord wants you back, and the stronger your spirit the better, GO, get the gospel, be strong and steadfast, treasure your soul, it's important to the lord. Nourish it, strengthen it with the gospel, and go back to our father in heaven with the strongest spirit possible!!
